THE 2007 PUBLIC DEFENDER APPELLATE ADVOCACY PROGRAM Sponsored by the: National Defender Training Project and the Louisiana Appellate Project Hampton Inn - New Orleans (There is another set to make it easier to load the page. This is set 2. Click here for set 1.) There is no specific order to these photos as the training moves back and forth between large plenary sessions and the small groups. ((Click on any photo to see a larger version)) NOTE: At the bottom are 3 pictures from the Tate Banquet. (Click Here). For many years, the Louisiana Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (LACDL) has sponsored an annual awards banquet. This year (2007) the Louisiana Public Defender Association (LaPDA) was invited to and did join in awarding some "Trustee of Freedom" awards. (See the LaPDA site: http://lapda.org/lapda_supports_lacdl_tate_awards.htm) Inasmuch as the awards banquet was November 30, during the Appellate Advocacy Program, many of the LAP attorneys attended. The LAP director was given the "Trustees of Freedom Lifetime Achievement Award." Below are three photos from that event. (Click on any of them for a larger version.) |
